To access:
From the Help menu, click Check for Updates.
What it does:
The Check for Product Updates feature allows you to check for and download product updates for System Mechanic.
Note: An open Internet connection is required; to check for updates and then download them, you must connect to iolo's Internet server.
Why use it:
Downloading updates keeps you current with the latest product improvements, revisions, and patches.
Click Check for updates to have the system connect to iolo's Internet server and check for any product updates.

An Information message will display, informing you that your software is up-to-date. Click OK to close the message. |

Updates to your product are available |
The Updates Available window will display, allowing you to view what updates are available. You have the option of downloading them immediately or at a later time. |

An Internet connection could not be established |
An Information message will display, informing you that the system could not connect. Click OK to close the message, and then check your Internet connection. Note: Common connectivity issues include the Internet connection is not on, the firewall is blocking the connection, or proxy settings are incorrect. |
