To access:
From the Toolbox on the navigation panel, click Speed Up and then click NetBooster Optimize Basic Internet Settings.
What it does:
The Optimize Internet Settings "NetBooster" wizard tailors various Windows settings to suit your type of Internet connection. Adapting these settings boosts Web download rates and improves Internet and network speed.
Why use it:
When Windows is installed, the default settings are not necessarily optimized for your specific Internet connection. This can prevent you from reaching maximum download and upload speeds. Moreover, if you change your network connection (e.g. work remotely at a coffee shop vs your home network), your settings may not be optimized for your specific connection at the time.
NetBooster allows the transferring of more data over your existing connection, resulting in faster and more reliable access.
Note: When you commit any changes, you will be notified that your Internet connection will be reset before System Mechanic applies the desired changes. System Mechanic must refresh your Internet connection to ensure that the changes take effect. Any Internet connected applications may lose connectivity at this time, and you may have to log back in to services like VPN or chat.
