To access:
System Mechanic Pro and System Mechanic Ultimate Defense users can access the file recovery feature Search and Recover by clicking the Search and Recover medic icon at the top of the homescreen.
What it does:
Search and Recover allows you to recover many types of lost files by searching the drive of your choice.
Why use it:
Use Search and Recover to rescue critical data that was accidentally deleted - be it from a hard drive, CD, MP3 player, digital camera, or any other digital device.
Choose your search location from the dropdown menu of drives listed. Next choose a place to save the recovered data by clicking Browse. Decide which type of search you wish to perform by checking the corresponding boxes, and click the blue Search button.
